Envy was written in Texas with my Co-writer Tammy Marler. We were discussing social media and how people put the very best version of themselves on social media and we come to know only that part of them and not the flaws. Sometimes I have this inner struggle of comparing myself to this version of people and the song “Envy” expresses that!
