We just asked DALE about his latest single, Miss Seattle, “I wrote this song about a girl I met from Seattle. On our first date she started going off with all these random facts about her city like, “did you know Seattle gets less rainfall than Atlanta in inches per year?”. Anyway I thought it was really endearing, so I wrote this song for her the night before she left town and played it in the car as I drove her to the airport. It must’ve worked, because we’re still together almost 2 years later :-)”
